What to do when Your Workers Are Not Working Enough

Every online entrepreneur has experienced this kind of problem. It is not that your workers are not telling the truth or are working for other employers. Oftentimes, the problem lies with you the employer. It could be that your instructions are not clear enough to them. Or that you are not giving them enough attention.

So how do you deal with this kind of problem? The first thing you should do is to blame yourself. You should take responsibility if you have not given them enough training, enough time and the right instructions.

If that does not correct the problem, you could do the following steps:

Talk to your workers and ask them if they have a problem or if they are struggling with something.

Ask them what is wrong and make a point of telling them the times they were still doing a good job and the time they are not, which is now.

Ask them to honestly tell you who else they are working for.

Tell them that it is important that you get a daily report. Tell them that a daily report is the only way for you to track what is going on with your business.

Tell them frankly that you can tell when they are doing their tasks properly and when they are not.

Use time tracker software if you have to.

Ask them why the tasks are taking so long to complete and if they need additional instructions.
