3 Tips on Writing a Good Job Post

For most employers, a job post is just something you write to get the attention of prospective employees and freelancers. What you may not know is that a greatly written job post can not only get the attention of a lot of prospective employees and freelancers but can also get you the right person for the job.

The same can be said when you are trying to hire Filipino outsourced workers. You may have noticed that there are a lot of Filipino outsourced workers who are obviously unqualified and are asking about your job post. You must also be wondering why the qualified ones are ignoring your job postings. Here are some tips to help you with this dilemma.

Be Specific About What You Want

Finding the ideal outsourced worker will be so much easier when you specify what you are looking for in an employee. If you are looking for a virtual assistant, then enumerate what kind of virtual assistant you want to hire. Are you looking for somebody who is good in SEO or excels in writing or somebody with administrative experience? By doing this, it will be a lot easier to screen out those who don’t qualify.

Keep Your Expectations Real

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as “the perfect outsourced worker”. No matter how hard you try, you cannot find somebody who is articulate in English, very good in SEO and can do WordPress, website design and programming. That is just impossible. The best thing to do is to make a list of what type of skills will be useful to your business and identify those you won’t be needing.

Hire Somebody Like You

In this business, opposites never attract. If you want your outsourced worker and you to get along, then hire somebody with the same attitude and working ethics as you do. So the next time you write a job post, don’t write characteristics that you want to find in an outsourced worker. Instead, write about the characteristics you value about your company and your employees.
